Westering High School has a very proud history and over the past 48 years, we have created many traditions which weave a rich tapestry with our latest innovations.
STUDY AT WHS
ACADEMIC
Westering offers a wide choice of subjects that enable learners to go to University, Technikon or various colleges or to continue with a career in business or a trade.
SPORT
Westering offers Summer and Winter sport, which is compulsory for all learners. There are a variety of sports to choose from in each season.
Pillar Project
As part of our school’s 50th birthday celebrations next year (1970-2020) we are initiating the Pillar Project.
We are inviting all current parents and learners, all current and previous members of staff, old scholars and previous parents to become involved in this project.
You and your family members or you and some friends may purchase a pillar at R6000,00 per pillar and in return the WHS Development Trust will ensure that your names will be inscribed on a granite plaque together with the years of your attendance or employment at the school.
